Manchester Prison Van Attack,Two Escape

Two prisoners are thought to have escaped after a prison van was attacked in Salford, police say.
The raid took place just after 9am, when police were called to Regent Road.
Greater Manchester Police say they believe two men were released from the van - and that they have deployed "a large number of officers" to the area in response.
Chief Superintendent Kevin Mulligan, said: "To reassure those that live nearby there is a significant police presence in the area.
"At this stage we do not believe that there is any ongoing threat to the community and we would appeal to anyone who has any information to contact the police as soon as possible."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
